SSMP conducts a variety of activities to support the goals of the Phase 1: 10-Year Plan. These activities range from temporary measures at the onset of a project, such as surface roughening, to permanent construction features. The outcomes of these activities include not only habitat improvements within the Salton Sea, but additional benefits such as increasing overall community engagement and creating jobs. 

By tracking the Activities & Outcomes associated with each project, SSMP can quantify project impact, demonstrate cost effectiveness, and improve transparency of how publicly-funded investments are being utilized to ensure the ongoing support of projects.
